About us

Our Tullamarine site specializes in secondary cheese processing and packaging, ensuring our well-known brands reach consumers in the best possible condition. This site operates in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment, utilizing advanced processing and packaging technologies. 

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our Tullamarine team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This position is ideal for a junior quality coordinator or recent graduate looking to kickstart their career in the dairy industry. You’ll play a key role in supporting the wider quality team and ensuring our products meet the highest food safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of quality data
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance procedures
  • Perform inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • Operate laboratory equipment and perform calibrations as required
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge

About You:

We are happy to speak with recent graduates with a degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field—or candidates with 1+ years’ experience in a similar role.

You can also demonstrate:

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment
  • High level of IT and administrative skills
